Review: 32 pieces professionals make up brush set from ebay

What do you feel like when you see a pasta or burger or pizza in front of you? Do you want to just grab it and pour it in your mouth? Like you want to feel them right at the moment? Lol 😀 that’s what I feel like when I see make up things in front of me. I just want to grab them and see how they feel like when you use them. ❤ Well, It’s not like I don’t have any feelings for pasta, pizza or burger. I was just saying, it’s just the same in both cases, like what you feel inside. I’m a huge food lover too. 😁 Anyways let’s discuss about the food another day.
Not every make up is affordable anyway. So cheap make up things are always desirable for every make up lovers. 😊 So, last December I ordered the 32 pieces professional make up brush set from ebay. Actually my husband did. lol 😀 He often checks out the affordable things in ebay, and if he thinks I would be interested, he sends me the link. ❤ So when he did send me that time, I checked it out and I loved it.

The total set cost us US 13.57$. It was shipped from China. There was no extra charge for shipping. Well, as you all know shipping charge varies for different countries in ebay. I don’t know if it’s free for everywhere. 🙂 Anyways, they give you a possible delivery time when ordering, but it does not always come within that time. Mine took a week longer than the mentioned time. And finally when it came I was so happy ☺
It’s not like you need all 32 of them always, but it’s always a blessing having them babies. 😘
They are so beautiful! ❤ It comes with a beautiful pouch too. Take them from there when you need and after using keep them again in the pouch. 🙂 Quality of the brushes are pretty good too. They are really soft.
There’s two fan brush, one is pretty large, other one is small. You can use the big one for loose powder and the small brush for using highlighter or blush on; One angle brush for contouring, large powder brush or blending brush, blush brush, foundation brush, eye brow comb, lash brush, eye shadow brushes including the spongey ones, eye liner brush, lip brush and concealing brushes. Well you can’t just limit the usage of brushes defining what to use where, it always depends on how do you like to use or how comfortable you are when using. 🙂
Overall i liked it. Shopping from ebay is really enjoyable except the fact that you need to wait for a long time to have it in your hands.

If anyone is interested, here’s the ebay link of the product:

Review: Missha line friends magic cushion foundation

OK, so finding the perfect foundation is the hardest struggle for any make up lovers. I have used couple of foundations, cake make up, BB cream, CC cream even pan stick. From those experience I know, the struggle is much harder if you have oily skin. I don’t know, but I heard it’s same for those with combination skin type too. After moving in Korea, my skin broke out suddenly. One of the Bangladeshi Sister here then suggested me to stop using the products I brought from Bangladesh. So, I did. As you all know, Korean BB cream is famous in world wide. I bought one, it’s actually good! It gives you the perfect coverage, and gets set in your face quickly. While my make up routine was getting better, my skin was getting worse. Searching google and with the help of internet, I came to know that for oily skin some times the culprit for acne is your BB CREAM!! Because it’s too light, and often gets your skin clogged with dirt and debris in your pores which eventually gives the CYSTIC ACNE 😥 I know how pathetic to have a cystic acne, I am a sufferer. -_- And Indeed I was having them while using my favorite BB cream. 😦

So, I had to find one alternative foundation. Again a little google search and research I learned about MISSHA LINE FRIENDS MAGIC CUSHION FOUNDATION. MISSHA is one of the the very popular brands in Korea. And it’s available in a mart near my house. So, I thought I would give it a try. 😉

The foundation comes with a compact case, with an extra refill and applicator; They gave me a hand mirror as a gift too 😉 That’s the thing  I love about buying Korean products. They often gives you something additionally. ❤ The product cost me 11,600 Korean Won. And trust me, it was totally worth it 😉

Now about the foundation, there’s a sponge saturated with foundation. You need to dab your applicator on the sponge and then just apply it on your face with little patting. 😀 It sets so quickly! And the most important thing is, it’s so moist. When you apply in your face you will feel it. ❤ And most amazing thing is it gives you a matte finish at the end. Girls like us with oily skin, we all know most of the times we feel like, our face is LIVE OIL MINE when we put foundation type things on! -_- And what we want to avoid most is the muddy or dewy look when applying make up! :/ :/ Now, admit it, that part consumes a lot time of your make up routine. It’s not possible everyday to spend much time on make up if you need to go to work or college or university. So, it’s always better to have something which can save your time.

Magic cushion gets powdery at the end, so you don’t need to use much loose powder or compact powder to set it off. Once you applied it, give that a little tapping, and you are done! ❤

There’s a little drawback in it. It gives you a powdery finish at the end. It doesn’t set on the scabby or irritated skin portion. But others than that it’s a very good one. 🙂 ^_^ So far, it’s the best everyday foundation I’ve used. ❤

It comes in two shade. Shade 21 & shade 23. I have brown skin, so I chose shade 23. You can choose shade 21 if it suites you!

Hijab and other facts with the hijab

Being a hijabi was not an easy task for me. I was not sure If I could even continue. But ALHAMDULILLAH I am doing fine till now. 😀  I started wearing hijab about four and a half years ago. Honestly speaking, the first month is really hard. Specially in a tropical country like Bangladesh. You may feel like your head is on fire 😀 But once you get used to with it you will be doing fine.

And once you are a hijabi, there’s some things you have to face and which only you will understand. Lol 😀 They are funny most of the times though. 😉 But some times it can be annoying >_<
1. Once you made up your mind about wearing hijab, some people around you will be like: শুরু করবা ভালো কথা, দেইখো আবার, পরে ছেড়ে দিও না!!! ( “It’s a great thing to start, but don’t just stop it later!” (with a negative approach))
2. And when you start wearing it, there will be some curious people asking if there’s another story behind it. Like if you got engaged or getting married, and if your partner asking for it lol 😀

3. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I heard some “aunty” kind of people couldn’t even look at my pictures, because seeing someone covering her hair gave them so much অশান্তি -_- Can’t remember the dialogue exactly, but I heard it was like : “এমনি গরি বাঁধি রাখসে কেন, সরা এই ছবি, দেখেই গরম লাগতেসে”!!!!!!! (“Why she wrapped herself like this! Even looking at her picture makes me fee like I’m on fire” ) No, I wouldn’t try to explain how that felt like, but I’m sure you can guess how it was -_-

4. Some people will be like, “ওকে, হিজাব পড়সো, খুবই ভালো, কিন্তু এতো মেকআপ করে হিজাব পড়ে লাভ কি”??????????? :@ (If you wear hijab and still wear lot’s of makeup, what’s good in that!)
giphy (3).gif
5. Not always the negativity, some people will appreciate you for sure. Some times more than you deserve, and it’s so much that you will eventually feel  awkward. -_-
giphy (4)
6. Some people will ask for your tips too. Like how do you wear it, where you can buy, blah blah 😉 And for the first time in your life you may feel pretty special ^_^
giphy (5)
7. This one is pretty awkward. If you need to go some place, where hijabis are not so common, you gonna get the look of seeing an alien from the people around you. :/ They will be like “are you for real??????” 😮 😮
giphy (6)
These all can be hard and awkward sometimes, dealing with negativity and etc., but once you start loving your hijab they are nothing to you. Besides, some people will always appreciate you. 🙂 Be strong, be patient and love yourself first. If you can’t love yourself how can you love hijab????????? 😉 😀

Korean life: the problem part 😒😒

Everyone has their imaginary boogeyman. There’s always a thing which you want to avoid at any cost. In my case, i was always afraid of being alone. Specifically being left alone. Lol 😃 the problem of being middle child is you grow with insecurities. I’m not saying our parents don’t care about us, but the sad truth is you can’t give attention to everyone at a time. While parents taking care to the younger one and listening to what the elder one has to say always, the middle child gets lost in between them. Again I’m not complaining, but that’s how it works. So i hate being alone. Not because of the insecurity fact but also for the fact of being a talkative one. Lol :p I’m a talkative girl and i love talkative people ❤ The thing is i can’t find find talkative people around me anymore 😞 i moved in Korea like 9months ago. There’s not much Bangladeshi people around here. And you can’t talk or communicate with the Korean people because of the language problem 😦 There’s another problem in Korea. When you move here you’ll be facing skin problems for sure 😒 and if you are unlucky enough may be hair fall too 😞 And for a girl like me who is obsessed with make up, skin problem is a curse :/ but that’s not gonna discourage me from make up. I would rather fight with acne than fighting with make up. Please don’t start now with the make up may harm your skin kind of blah blah, because that’s my passion 😒😒 I took different steps to fight with acne. So far no satisfactory result with any of that.
1st step was using Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil. I have found in many reviews that it helps if you have acne prone skin. But unfortunately didn’t work for me in that way. After 7days of using it showed noticeable improvement. There were less acne, spots were fading. But after some days it looked like it’s not working anymore.
So, I decided to try tea tree oil from another brand. Then I bought D’RAN Wonder Tea Tree oil. But the result was same 😦 little improvement at first, but then acne comes back again :/
When I was in Bangladesh I used to have my own facial pack. So I gave that a try again. For that pack you need flour, besan, honey, lemon juice, turmeric, cucumber-potato-tomato paste and baking soda. Mix them altogether and rub it in your face. Keep it like that for 20mins. After that rinse with cold water. You can use ice after that if you want to. But unfortunately what worked in Bangladesh didn’t work in Korea.
The next step was using aloe vera gel. Aloe vera gel is too light and it often dries your skin out in this cold weather. (It’s winter here now)
When all my attempts were failure singly, i tried to combine them all. Right now i’m using a mixture of tea tree oil, aloe vera gel as a daily moisturizer for my face while i use a mixture of tea tree oil, lemon juice and baking soda as a pack. It’s been 5days and i feel better. I just hope it stays that way 😦
Another thing is you must wash your hair in a regular basis. I noticed that if I don’t wash my hair for 3days there’s a new pimple in my face 😥

So that’s all for today. I will come back again with all my problems lol 😜

A messy introduction

A messy world : for those who are wondering why did i put that name, well, because world around me is pretty messy and i am much more messier lol  😀  that was not a rational explanation either but who wants to be rational anyways? We all live in our own fantasies, where we want to believe life is a fairy tale, one day a prince will come in horse and rescue us from all our pain and sorrows, and we’ll be living happily ever after blah blah…. Some times i want to curse Snow White, Cinderella, all the stories of রাজা- রানী for ruining our sense of reality. But then I realize that losing sense of reality is all we got to live for. All we got to dream, all we got to hope. Like thinking one day all our problems will be gone and we’ll have a happy ending. That’s not even possible, but still we hope for a better future.
Like that TV series ONCE UPON A TIME where everyone is trying to reach their happy ending but ends up with obstacles, one after another. I’m a big fan of OUAT though because I believe you are more attracted to things you do not have. Like adventures, thrills, unrealistic fantasies  :p
In my regretful life of not having unrealistic things, things that are real to me is make up, cooking, sewing, dresses, bags, shoes and some times travelling 😀
Sounds pretty messy, huh?? Told you so 😉 😉 😉
