Inferno: The movie

So, yesterday we went to watch the movie “INFERNO”. I was pretty excited about the movie, cause I am a big Dan Brown fan and a bigger fan of Robert Langdon. But before you begin, I want you to know that this article contains a lot of spoilers! If you already have read the book and watched the movie, you are good to go but if you haven’t read or watched it yet and but planning to, may be you should skip. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s a movie from Ron Howard, who previously made films from two other Dan Brown books, The Da Vinci Code & Angels & Demons. They both were box office hit, so everyone was waiting with big hope. Even at friday night, when most of the Korean people spends times in bars with drinking, a quite number of people were present at 10.30 show! :0

It says, when a movie is made out of a book, half the story gets lost. This is much true for Dan Brown novels, because he always builds up the story with piles of information and twist, which makes the reader keep turning pages. However, it’s not really possible to show everything of a book in a 2-3 hours show.

When Robert Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Dr. Sienna Brooks, and together they must race across Europe against the clock to foil a deadly global plot.

The story was quite the same as the book except some little portions. Tom Hanks was brilliant as usual as Robert Langdon, though his mystery or symbol solving ability was not much visible in the movie, but anyways, he’s always the one who solves it at the end. But I think a little background on the character Dr. Sienna could be better, rather than making a past affair plot of Dr. Elizabeth & Robert. I think, they made it just to add some romance, to draw attention of some certain viewers, making it look more significant when  WHO, specially Dr. Elizabeth asks for Robert‘s help. In the book, we saw at the end, the world has already been affected with some vector virus, making 1/3 of the population sterile, but here it is shown that, Robert & WHO, with the help of the private company, The Consortium, finally prevent that from happening by finding the virus before it gets explode.

In the book, the mentioned time was the time when the world will be fully infected, because Dr. Zobrist actually started the process a week ago, and there’s nothing could’ve been done then. But Dr. Sienna herself tries to stop the virus infection too, but she doesn’t want WHO to experiment with it again. She loved Dr. Zobrist‘s works and she loved him as a person, and we saw the book finishes making her a hero, who decided to continue the works of Dr. Zobrist.

In the movie, she died in a fight trying to make the virus spread out. Also, the leader/ provost, of The Consortium was killed at the end, by some Zobrist fanatic. But in the book, we see otherwise.

Anyways, the other things remained unchanged. If you only watch the movie it’s a good one, but if you read the book before, and try to compare, you may feel disappointed.

The music was awesome! The movie was too fast, it makes you to concentrate. The sound effect and filming made the movie more alive. Casting was okay, and most importantly when there is Tom Hanks, you do not need any excuses to watch the movie. lol ๐Ÿ˜› Boy, he is a sweet heart, even at this age! โค

I will rate this movie a 6.5 on 10.

Hope you guys enjoyed! Have a happy holiday. ๐Ÿ™‚

Dedicated to husband ;)

Okay, so please don’t laugh at me, please, please, please! This is something really funny I am writing, I know. But the thing is, you know so many times, I said, I never forgive, I never forget! ?ย And recently my husband was making fun of that line, saying you should write a song with it :/ So, that’s what I did! -_-

And here it goes-

I get lost in moments,

I get lost in me.

Something can never be forgiven,

Always haunts you down from your safe haven.

Part of me keep breaking me apart,

& I give up holding myself together.

Every tear I shed, is a reminder

I never forgive, never forget, ever!

Okay, so you can make fun of me too, about my poor composition lol ๐Ÿ˜€ But all these was just to irritate him a little! If it’s not a good composition, than it’s no problem either, cause I gave you a thing to laugh, anyways! ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜‚

Have a good day, people! ๐Ÿ™‚

Chapter Suncheon: Suncheon bay national garden

So, this year, during Chuseok, couple of Bangladeshis including me and my husband, planned to visit Suncheon bay garden in Suncheon. If you are not familiar with Chuseok, which is totally okay, because it’s Korean government holiday for 3days and kinda similar to thanks giving. The area of the garden is 1.112 kmยฒ plus 28 kmยฒ of Suncheon Bay. There are about 860,000 trees and 650,000 autumn flowers such as roses, sunflowers, and cosmos flowers are planted in the garden.

Suncheon Bay Garden was designated as the No.1 National Garden in August and held a proclamation ceremony on September 5, 2015. According to the data collected from Suncheon on October 13, the total visitors of the garden is now at the 400 million mark. Which is quite true, because when we went there, I was kinda surprised to see the rush of people. Because, I heard in Chuseok, people spends time with their families in home, specially they visit their villages or home town.

Anyways, it’s a garden, so it is of course green everywhere. But you will be kinda surprised to see how many versatility a garden can hold! So many different species of plants, so many varieties (505 species of trees and 113 species of flowers) are gonna stunned anyone for sure.

The Suncheon Lake Garden designed by American landscape designer Charles Jencks is located at the center of Suncheon Bay Garden. Inspired by the unique topography of Suncheon, this artificial garden is a small representation of the city. The Suncheon Bay Garden was built to protect the ecosystem of the Suncheon Bay area.

The garden has 4 zones:

  • Arboretum: Arboretum zone features various kinds of path including Autumn Tint path, Maple Tree path, and Meditation path. It also features Korean Traditional Garden where the Palace Garden, the Noblemen’s Garden, and the Garden of Hope can be found. The Royal Azalea Garden has locally grown royal azalea trees with over a hundred species of royal azaleas. Another feature of arboretum is the Tree Ground which has over 200 species of naturally grown trees such as southern magnolia, zelkova, and hackberry tree.
  • Wetland Center: The Wetland Center Zone features the Dream Bridge designed by artist Kang Ik-Jung. The wall of the bridge is decorated with 145,000 drawings on old shipping container by children around the world.
  • World Garden Zone: The World Garden Zone is a collaborative space created by designers and artists from Korea and all over the world. It consists of indoor, outdoor gardens, and gardens of 11 countries including German, Dutch, Japanese, and Spanish.
  • Wetland Zone: The Wetland Zone is where visitors can experience natural environments. The Biotope Wetland was built to protect the Suncheon Bay wetland ecology. A walking trail work as a guide for visitors to explore ecology of inland wetland.

And here’s some of the pictures we took there :

Butterfly couple

Water spray ๐Ÿ™‚

Anther interesting thing about the garden is water spray. Tiny drops of water are sprayed in a way to give you a cold feeling.  When you feel all sweaty, just go near any of the water spray and trust me, you will feel better afterwards. โค

Some of the places even contains history and old stories. One of the story was about this butterfly couple who couldn’t have a happy ending while as human being being and later became butterflies.

Overall, it’s a good place for a day out. This is quite a big area, so make sure to keep some times in your hands so you can take a good look.

Hope you enjoyed the post! Have a good day, bye! ^_^

Strangest thing: i hate you, i love you

They say, you have to be sad to understand the meaning of happiness. I really don’t get it. Why you can’t just be happy forever?ย Why almighty sent us some places, where everything comes with a price? Good days after bad days; you have to sacrifice this one, to have that one and etc. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

There’s always a confusion in everything. ย There are too many stranger thing in our life, but I believe the strangest thing of them is, feeling love and hatred towards the same thing.ย

Like, the fact that, I miss my past old days, but I don’t want to go back there to start everything again.ย I hate being here in this part of world, with the littlest world I ever had, but despite of being littlest it gave me so many other things too. :/

I hate being alive, but I don’t wanna die either, not really soon. -_- Anyways, there are other things too, which I love and hate equally lol ๐Ÿ˜›

I have always wanted some magic potion to make myself forget somethings. Because my memory is a freaking bitch, who keeps getting on my wick. And because I have nothing to do without living with it, I always end up in tears.

And, every tear is a reminder to myself that, I can never forgive, never forget.

Birthday outfit: all the credit goes to husband <3

So, today is my birthday and this one is like my best birthday ever! My husband is surprising me with gifts from two days ago and he says, he’s not finished yet, there’s more to come โค So, he’s planning this for a long time. He remembered every little thing I wanted to buy for last couple of months. Like, after release of Kung fu Panda 3, there’s a panda doll similar to the one in the movie, in every mart here. From the first day I was in love with the doll, but I really didn’t want to spend money for a doll at this age lol ๐Ÿ˜›

As you can see, I don’t have to worry about it anymore, I already have it now โค

Ha, ha, Here’s my birthday outfit, which is also a gift from him:

For the first time, he chose a dress for me, all by himself. I am kinda impressed by his choice. โค

Now the makeup:

I have used L.A. Girl smokey eye shadow collection palette here ๐Ÿ™‚ This one is also a gift from him. Two days ago, just after lunch, we were talking about stuff, and I just told him that, I saw there’s a sale on this palette and in the evening when he went for some grocery shopping, he came back with this beauty. ^_^ I was totally surprised. All these days, when I was saying something about makeup stuff, I never thought he listened to me this carefully.  Though I didn’t tell him which palette I would like, nude or the smokey one, he chose smokey one by himself. Gosh, I’m proud of my man! โค Not only he remembered the name, but also he chose wisely!

That’s all for today! Bye! โค

Basic beginners makeup: part 2

So, in part 1, I described the things or makeup stuff you need to start with as a beginner. Now today I will share you how you can actually start doing your makeup.

Because I have a super oily skin, so all the tricks and methods I will write here, are applicable for oily skin types. I really know nothing about dry or combination type skin.

But whatever your skin type is you should always start with a face wash to clean your skin. And then a toner so that it can it tightens your pores. Because just after one hour out in the sun, your foundation will start oxidizing and your pores gonna open up more, which will eventually get debris and dusts clogged in the pores, finally you gonna have a break out the next day.

The next step is a moisturizer. It helps set up the foundation better. Then a sunscreen because you do not want to go outside without any protection against the uv rays.

Now finally put your foundation or bb cream. Never use hands to put your foundation. Always use a brush or beauty blender. I prefer brushes because I feel beauty blenders absorbs too much foundations.

Use concealer around darker areas of your faces like eyes, chin and if you have any pimples or spots.

Time to set them with some powder. But always wait few minutes so that both bb creams or concealer have times to get set on your skin first.

Now contouring and highlight part. Highlight the areas of your faces which catch light easily. Like your cheekbones, forehead, bridge of your nose, up and under of your lips. And contour the sides of your nose, jawline, under your cheekbones and sides of your hairline. For making highlighter look more obvious, put some extra powders for few minutes on those areas and swipe them off later. This is called baking.

Now, come to your eyes. Get your brows done at first! Drawing brows are easiest with the pencils. Just do the outline first and blend them later with brushes!

Now come to eyeshadow part. It is always better to put some extra base on the eyes because it makes the color look more visible. You can always use concealers as a eye makeup base. The simplest eye makeup have 4 parts:

  • A dark color on the crease and outer corner of the eyes
  • A light color on the lid
  • A transition color in between
  • And some white or glowing color on the inner corner of your eyes

In this makeup I have used only the pink shades in all dark, transition and light color. The first and must thing to learn as a beginner is blending these all together, to make it all look like a one. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now, get some lipsticks. I also used a pink lipstick here. The reason of getting all pink is because this kinda color goes with everything as I said in part 1.

So, this is the kind of makeup you can try with as a start. We will eventually get to more gorgeous makeup later. But this is all for today!

Hope you enjoyed ๐Ÿ˜

Fall makeup and a few facts of the products for this makeover

So, the fall is here and I was thinking of trying something new! So I tried some blue with purple and here’s how it came out!

As usual I have used Beauty Treats eye shadow palette.I have never used this color combo before and I was kinda satisfied seeing the way it came out.๐Ÿ˜„

So at first try putting a purple color in the outer corner of your eyes. Now blend it towards your crease. Put a brownish ash color and blend a little inwards. Take a pinkish color and do the same again. Now take a blue color put it over your lids. Finally put some glittery or glowy color in the inner corner of your and you are done!

I would like to share some facts of the products I used today.

  1. For contouring, I used Etude house play stick. For blending always use a dry sponge rather than a wet one when you are using this. It works better that way.
  2. If you want a long lasting makeup and specially when you have pigmentation in your skin, try putting It’s skin green makeup baseย after putting primer. It will reduce pigmentation as well as works great for long lasting.
  3. This one is taught by one of my dearest friend. When you want to put shadows in your lower lash, try putting pencil eyeliner as a base first. The eye shadows will work nicer if you do so.

Another thing I would want to say is, recently I have tried Tonyย moly eye lashes and trust me, they are pure beauty! Sooo round and easy to apply. I am planning to buy them again soon.

And another one is Missha super brush pen eyeliner.ย Trust me, this one is a must have! The tip is really thin, you can always control the thickness of your eyeliner. ๐Ÿ˜

So, that’s all for today! Happy weekend everyone!
